Roxie likes to lay on my left side, not my lap. She hates to be carried and will gladly give you a kiss if you will only let her down. She's not that keen on petting either but she loves to have her butt scratched. She's rather cat like. I've found quite a few yorkies don't care that much for petting. Maybe it pulls on their hair?
