we are currently on vacation and if we go to a restaurant.. we are leaving for one shortly actually.. layla goes in her crate in the backseat of the truck. the weather is such right now that the temp in the truck is perfect... i cover the crate with a blanket (with a spot left for air
) so that no one looks in and sees something they want to take... if it is too hot ... we leave the truck running and go and check on her... and if it is too cold she gets her heater put in with her.
we never leave layla alone in the hotel mainly because we stay at hotels that don't allow dogs and we sneak her in.. i wouldn't want to take the risk of having her found by the staff... and layla doesn't do well when left alone (other than in a vehicle.. go figure!)
