hello fellow canadian.. i was in the same position as you.. i wanted a female but didn't want to pay over 1000.. i ended up going to the US... Ohio.. i got layla for 1000 US, when the exchange rate was very high.. so we only paid about 1200... i search far and wide in ontario but they were up around 1800 and mom and dad werent going for that... you might have to start looking in ths US too.. but there is a magazine called Dogs Canada you can get at PetSmart or Chapters with a list of breeders in the back and there are MANY yorkie breeders there... also try the web.. that's where i found layla
