Pretty well actually. I have one of the hand held shower sprayers, so I could control where the water went, being careful of the ears.
I'd been bathing mine in the tub a long time, since I didn't want to put them so high up on the kitchen sink. I really loved the shower idea, and so far, its worked out great. Only problem I had is they want to get dried off before I can dry myslef off
