Thank you so very much for asking about Willow today. OMG that little peanut is doing so good. We had our first poopers last night which was very hard for her to squat on one back leg . . . but that sweet little girl did it on her pad. We are peeing every four hours. And today she is eating a/d. I still can't get her to drink any water for me . . . but I just take the a/d and put it on a paper plate and pour a little water on it and mash it all up and guide the paper plate around for her to eat it. We are taking her e collar off a few times a day and let her lay on my lap and chew on a flossie. She loved that. Then momma holds her and rubs her back and she likes that too. She lays in the case I got her real good too and sleeps off and on. She wants to play with the cat in the worst way . . . but Isabella is being nice and knows that Willow is hurt and can't play.
How is your sweet little Lacy doing this weekend? She had a dressing on her wound? Willow only has an open incision with stitches that we get out on January 11th. I think Lacy' surgery was far more extensive that Willow's. We have a plate and two pins to my knowledge. On the big lower bone. The other lower bone is still broken but they are not concerned since they stabalized the bigger bone. I think it was tibia and fibula. On the back right leg. What bones did Lacy break?
Oh . . . and I am doing a lot better today too. It's so hard to see your little furbabies hurt and sick, but I think I can make it through this. This website and all the caring people sure have helped me. |
