4 to 5 pounds is a nice size. When soem people use the term "teacup" they are referring to 2 to 3 pounds and that is frowned upon on this site. they are just too fragile.

It is accepted that a larger set of parents can occasionally produce a very small puppy, but it is not acceptable for breeder to deliberately try to breed for the tiny ones in order to chrge more for them.

It's one of the few markets where people will actually pay more money to get less.
