I don't have a whole lot of advice except that if you do get another dog, be sure to give reese a ton of extra love. We just brought a new pup into our family and our other 2 dogs feel very threatened by her. We have to give them extra love so they know they are not being replaced. We have always taken our dogs outside to potty so I can't help with the "pee pad vs. potty" issue. Have you considered starting your yorkie on going outside? I don't have a clue how difficult that would be but it seems like it would be easier than having 2 dogs going in 2 different places. Might confuse the new baby.

Whatever you decide, I wish you luck and hope that it works out wonderfully. new furbabies are so exciting....and so much work. oye...I forgot how much work it was. But very rewarding.
