Can you put something against the walls, like some clear hard plastic, plywood or lean a baby gate against? Better yet, can you get a small ex-pen to put in there or somewhere else in your home? If he is tearing up the wall paper with his feet, no spray on stuff or deodorant will stop that. Those things work if he is going after stuff with his mouth.
