I spent hours dematting Pepper at the beginning, he had terrible matt-prone baby coat. And still he ended up shaved down at his first groom. Just recently his hair got a little longer and was starting to get tangled again, instead of putting clothes on him, I cranked up the heat LOL
. Well, he has a nice puppy cut now and can wear clothes more often
, and combing is a breeze. BUT there was time I cried over those matts, feeling like the worst Yorkie mommy ever, and those pictures of dogs with coats sweeping the floor were not helping.....
