My puppy got Scabies as well! He was miserable, scratching and biting constantly. The vet gave him a shot and then I bathed him in a special shampoo (sulfer-it stinks) every 2 weeks for 6 weeks. That got rid of them but he gave them to me as well and I had to go to the doctor for medication to get rid of them. These skin mites lay eggs under the skin that hatch every 2 weeks so you need to keep treating for several weeks. VERY IMPORTANT- after each treatment you MUST wash all your puppy's bedding, blankets and everything he lays on. These things are hard to get rid of without the help of your vet.
