I've always been told that whatever you do on the first day of the new year will set the pattern for the rest of your year and if you do laundry or housework on that day you will always be behind. So, the last load is in the washer right now, the house is cleaned and the boyz are heading for a bath shortly. I figure if I get everything done tonight I can goof off tomorrow...maybe that will mean the new year will hold nothing but fun for me? I guess I can always hope! Oh...and aren't you supposed to eat cabbage and blackeyed peas to bring you good fortune? Well...if it will get me that winning lottery ticket...I'm game!
