It is so hard, I know. My little angel had her leg fractured yesterday. My heart breaks for you. The vet told me you will know when they are hurting because they wimper. She gave me pain med to give her. We have only had to use it once to keep her comfortable. Lots of hugs to you for everyone. I wish your precious little one a speedy recovery. Take good care.
