Her stitches might be pulling from healing. Does her incision look alright, not red or swollen? I have found that spaying is more of a recovery for these girls then neutering for males. I'm always a wreck when any procedure is done that requires anesthesia/cutting.
San Antonio sounds like a nice place to visit. I was only in Texas a couple of times for some weddings many years ago, Dallas and Houston. I remember Houston, my husband got food poisoning and I had to find a doctior at 1 a.m. I did find one through the hotel.
