I usually brush first, even though I had heard to never brush them when they are dry. I had also heard that getting them wet makes the tangles tighter. I normally get a fair amount of hair in the brush, which always upset me.

Today I was distracted and forgot to brush first. I bathed with Best Shot Shampoo from Petedge, and used the same brand of conditioner.

I towel dried, then sprayed with the Best Shot grooming spray. The tangles all came out much easier then brushing before their bath and I had very little hair in the brush when I was finished.

From now on I am definitely bathing first.
