I took the boyz to the new vet this morning to have a couple things checked. She was impressed with my general knowledge of Yorkies and canine nutrition (Thank you YT!) and here's the scoop on the boyz.
Jo licks his feet, no physical issues but he's getting chubby...he's right at 5 pounds, he's gained a few ounces from his normal weight of 4.4
must be winter taking it's toll on him...I think he'll go on a diet with me! So, I'll try a new shampoo for him and see if it helps...if not...it's probably just something he does to relax.
Riley has a tooth that needs to be pulled. I thought 'the other vet' took care of his baby teeth but evidently not all of them...I'm ticked! So, he goes in Tuesday morning to have that tooth pulled and he's on antibiotics until then. He's holding his weight well, still 4.3 pounds.
So, all in all my boyz are healthy and we like the new vet! Now...let's just hope we don't
need the new vet too often!
