I had this problem with my Bell, actually still do... They need to run!! I fenced in my yard and it got better, but Bell still isn't trained.. She will run.. SO I have to watch her often, its nerve racking, she could get hit by a car and be killed.. Try practicing her staying back at a certain point when you open the door. Have some one ring the bell and have them sit and stay..
