A 1 lb. is really frightening to me. I like tinies but not below 4-5 lbs. because I have an arthritic spine. I have a Yorkie that is 10 months and it's a struggle to keep him at 3 lbs., supposed to be at least 4. My Mi-Ki is finally 3 lbs., past a year but extremely delicate not sturdy like my Yorkie. The Mi-Ki was supposed to be 5 lbs., never will make 3.1 lbs. I have to watch that the Mi-Ki doesn't over do running around or he goes into hypoglycemia. I had him tested for everything. He's so low to the floor a real live dust mop when he walks, he cleans.
Just enjoy what you have.
