The doctor was there and when he saw her perk up from my visit and the way she ate her food he made sure he discharged her so that I could bring her home tonight. She did have a fever earlier today and when they took it tonight . . . it was normal again. He said the best thing that we could do for her right now was to bring her home and let her get into her familiar surroundings again. She did real good on the car ride home . . . just snuggled with me. My best friend is in town right now from Chicago and she drove me there and told me it was okay to break down and cry cuz that is my baby. It felt good to finally let it out tonight and then I could be strong for my baby when I brought her home.
Willow ate another little bit of food when she came home and she is all tucked in with her e-collar on and in her new cat kennel for the night. We hate it . . . but it is what the doctor ordered . . . so we have to do it.
Thank you everyone for your support. |
I'm so glad that your friend understands, and that she's there with you

! Willow just needed her Mommy, she must have been frightened being in the hospital

I'm sure that you'll have her back to her perky self in no time
