Yes I would say the main difference is the quality of the items used to make the bag! I recently bought an authentic Louis Viutton when I was in Vegas and when I got back home I compared it to the knock off one I had purchased at my local mall and the knock off are made with the cheapest materials and yet people sell them for prices that do not even compare to the real thing(authentic).
I must say I used my knock off Louis Vuitton carrier for a week and the bottom was already coming loose at the seams! I have had my authentic for about 3 months now and its still in great shape! Plus Louis Vuitton stands by their products with warrenties and registrations!
Buying one name brand authentic item saves you money in the long run rather than buying 2 knock offs for say 200.00 and end up throwing them away in less than a month!
