I would have some food and water since its gonna be a long trip. Nutrical on hand definitely and I would give the puppy some. A blanket and maybe a stuffed animal. I don't mean to scare you but when I got my Jewels another breeder had purchased the brothers from my breeder. She was driving from Michigan and on the way back one of the pups died. It was in perfect health and must have had hypoglycemia and since she was driving she didn't five it any nutrical. Thats why I said to make sure you just go ahead and give it it the new puppy.
