I'm sure it was especially hard right before Christmas... this was our first Christmas without our Lucky... he was 15 yrs old. I still miss him sooo darn much that it hurts when I see other black labs. But we got our little Mia soon after Lucky left us, and she has really helped our healing. I think he had something to do with us finding her. God Bless you all and I hope you find solice in each other.
The thing that helps me the most.... I still talk about Lucky all the time. I even showed Mia his picture, colar, and bone that sits on our fireplace mantle... just so she knows she did have a big brother.
