working from home by yourself requires a lot of self discipline. that means devoting time at home to work as if you're working onsite at the office. i find that trying to tend to house duties while working from home results in two jobs done poorly. not to mention, i find that i never quite leave work behind since it's so easy to just "work for a little bit" and have it turn into a whole sunday afternoon.

in the end i prefer to work outside the home. work is in the office and stays at the office. home remains home, for personal things.
I hear ya! I wish my work stayed at work, though. I'm a teacher, and it comes home with me too!
