You sure can!
My oversized Akita is 29 inches at the shoulder. If this little guy only gets to be 4-5 inches taller than that, that's not so big! Considering he'll be shorter coupled than the Akita too.

There's a guy I saw on some channel that even gave his mini it's own type of doggy door and gated off his waaaay oversized kitchen area (had proper footing for a horse, not tile...something else that's non slippery, but withstood water and his shoes, w/ a drain in the middle of the floor) just for this little guy! After he'd be out to potty, the guy would let him around the entire house. And this pony just followed him everywhere. How darling.
