You *can* breed her. Look at 2 and 4 lb Chihuahua's doing it all the time.
DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD however!
There are sooooo many risks that come w/ breeding a small breed, let alone the smaller they are.

So, the theory I propose is this....what if you did breed her to a better suited size male and something happened and she didn't survive and neither did any of the puppies? It's a realistic possibility. If YOU aren't wanting to do this and it wasn't your intentions....you're only doing it for your husband. DON'T. These are all the wrong reasons. You will no doubt feel terrible if the above happened, but moreso because it's not what you had intended to do w/ her.

Breeding isn't just about putting two dogs together and letting nature take it's course and in 58-63 days *bam* you have a litter...it's not...not w/ Yorkies and small breeds especially. If he thinks he'll be getting $$ back, he is sorely mistaken.
