If you have to leave him for more than 2 hours or so, I wouldn't leave him in the kennel..his bladder is still too small and he might have accidents. I put peanuts kennel, potty pad, food and water bowl in my bathroom and so far so good...he always uses the pad! If I leave for a short time, yes he goes in his kennel.
