The best thing I have found it the tooth brush you slide on ur finger. I find them at walgreens and it had ridges on it you slide it on your finger and place the doggy toothpaste on it. It allows me to control the brushes easier than those oversized dog toothbrushes that will not even fit in my yorkies mouth!!!
Before I found this item I just put some toothpaste on my finger and rubbed down GRacie's teeth with it. She does put up a fight but its so much easier if I just use my finger!!!!
