Many of the Biewers are indeed larger than the standard Yorkie, currently. They have not yet been bred down as much as the Yorkie has been yet. However, I have 3 Biewers now and each of them are on the smaller side of the what most people see when they think of what the "normal" Biewer is. My Biewers are 5.5 lbs (1.5 yr old female), 3.8 lbs (1 yr old male), 2.5 lbs (17 week old male).
