I haven't read any of your previous posts about your puppy yet - I gather that she has had a few trips to the vet though already... but, is it possible that she had GAS?
I only say this because Oscar scared the living daylights out of me once doing the same thing. He was laying on the couch with me.. then he just sat up and let out a squeal - loud, and long - then stopped. He did it once more and I rubbed his belly, checked for any 'tender' spots on his body and got no reaction. He eventually went back to sleep and woke up and was himself - never had a problem. I asked the vet about it later that week and she said it could very well have been gas pains. Apparently upset tummies/gas, etc. are way more uncomfortable for dogs than it is for us.
I don't know, I hope it's nothing - but like everyone says - if there's a history of some problems, then maybe a trip to the vet would be a good idea. Hope everything turns out okay! Good luck! |
