It's so hard to know. My other yorkie, Zoe, is the same age as Coco, but weighs ten pounds. I'm not sure if weight has anything to do with it, but she never has accidents and doesn't need to go outside nearly as much as Coco. I think I just have to be patient with her. I've been praising her more enthusiastically when she goes outside.
