So let me get this straight? You are doing an owner contract and are behind 2 months rent/mortgage payment? What is your default with them? 30 days? 60 days? I am not trying to be rude, I work in a mortgage office so I am trying to sort the facts. If you have a rent to own contract and you default within the period set forth in the contract there is not much you can do, other then scrape together the money ASAP. Why did you wait until the day you were in default to get help? You have had 2 months.
We have lease option to purchase properties with a 30 day default. At the end of 30 days nonpayment the properties revert back to original owners.
If you are still short by the time frame imposed on you by your landlord, I would be borrowing money from my parents or all most parents. Draw up a contract with them to pay them back money owed on a monthly payment plan or see if they would do a trade program. You cook or clean for them on X amount of days for so many months until all debt is paid back.
Good luck and you are in my prayers.
