I couldn't help but get teary as I read about Suzi - I do know how dear our furbabies can be and just how attached we are to them. They ARE family!!!And for me...Yorkies are just .... well SPECIAL! My Daisy is my heart...and I watched her almost die 3 times... my heart breaking each time as the vet would say...."I just don't know, she may have a 50/50 chance". Thank God she is ok now.
My heart aches for your girls... I know they are broken hearted...and it will only take time to heal the empty spot I am sure they feel today. I will say a prayer for them that God will ease the pain they feel... and that somehow, some way they find peace today. Thank goodness they have you to lean on and talk to... and talking about Suzi and all the fond memories will be good for them - they will be able to release some pain and remember what a special friend Suzi was.
Again...you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers...and I will give Daisy an extra hug tonite... in her memory.
