I LOVE Playpens!
When I got my Brodie (the handsome devil to the left there) thats exactly what I did. His bed was in one corner and the rest was lined in pee pads and there was an area for him to eat as well , while I was at work. It worked out excellent for me! He never tried to climb out, he was too small. Even when we were home just watching TV, I'd put him in there to prevent carpet accidents and he was content. It worked great for me and I also used the same one when my Chi was born Tia. She stayed in it as well.
Now I use it as my puppies area. My moms and pups stay in there. I love them!
I stretch a blanket over the top and use these heavy duty clamps (they are a mans tool gadgit?) and that provides privacy for the moms and babies.
