I'm sorry, I can't offer much help. I got Coco when she was a year old and now she's about 18 months. She's fine during the day when I'm not home, but when I'm home at night, even if I take her out every two hours, she still pees on the floor sometimes. I reward her everytime she goes outside. A trainer told me to scatter her food where she tends to pee because apparently dogs don't like to pee where they eat. It worked for a while, and now it's not working as well. When I bought her, the woman who sold her to me told me she was housebroken, but obviously she's not. She doesn't know how to ask to go outside because there was a fenced in yard where she spent her first year. That's part of the problem. |
