I have taken my two on long weekend vacations, and as much as I love them, I'd rather just leave them with my mother when I go away (which I do pretty often). When I took them to the beach for 3 nights, I had to worry about them every time I did something.. I had to worry about the cleaning lady or someone randomly coming in, I couldn't enjoy going out to dinner because I worried about someone coming in or them barking. For me, it takes the purpose of a vacation right out.
