I have been using Honey Nut Cheerios,,,,They like them and will follow commands well.....('fairly well').

They are easy to stick a few in a pocket and have handy when I want to reward them quickly.

I also started using a clicker...I'm not really following the "clicker training" method completely...but I wanted to have "SOMETHING" that would get their attention FAST in case one gets out the front door towards the road....I use the clicker 'suddenly....for no reason....' ....and just say "COME"....just to get their attention...then I give them a tiny, small bite of cheese (they love the cheese).

I like the other ideas....I will look for the Bil Jac and others next time i'm in PetSmart.....mine never liked any of the 'hard' treats.
