Oh, another thing-you might want to pick up a few things before you go and pick her up to bring her home:
Soft food because her mouth might hurt after the dental work
A syringe to squirt water in her mouth-Emma wouldn't drink for awhile after her surgery
A pack of baby onesies-I put these on Emma to keep her warm and prevent her from chewing her stitches, they worked WONDERS!
You'll also want to get a little area ready for her when you bring her home. She'll be really groggy, but you'll want her to be in a nice, safe, comfy, warm place where she can recover. |
