Dear Jessy,
My girls and I are so very, very sorry to hear of your loss. How old was Isaac? Our precious Suzi was killed by an unknown driver yesterday at about 5:30 pm. We didn't stop crying and talking about her until finally my oldest (Abby,) cried herself to sleep at 11:30pm. Suzi was only 14 months old. Full of life and love. I had dogs in my childhood but no dog has every captured my heart the way Suzi did. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary with her Christmas day...She was a gift to us from my sister.
This morning was so very difficult, my first morning without her waking me to be let out. Then she would return to the door scratching so I could hold her and give her her morning scratch. As I scratched her chin she would hold my arm with her little paws...So, so, so sad. My heart is aching for your and our loss.
I hope time is healing your broken heart.
