Sad Food problems

Our new baby (11 wks) isn't eating enough and having problems with hypoglycemia. The vet gave us some a/d today to help her appetite. She loves it, but when I mix it with her dry food she will lick it off the pieces and leave the dry. The other day I got her to eat some of the dry by soaking it and then mixing in some wet.

Anyway, how common is the problem of them refusing the dry food? As I've said, she's not eating much so I'm not too concerned about her being picky at this point but once her appetite is up... at what point should I consider introducing a different dry food?

We never had this problem with Penny, thankfully. She'd gobble up whatever we put in front of her.
