this exact thing happen to me when bentley was about 2 months old, and it was SO SCARY! my heart was beating so hard when i finally caught him...and i was so mad! i had opened the door for a split second to check and he darted under me... he stayed in his kennel for hours after this (just like you) i feelt bad, but i can only imagine what would have happen if i didn't catch him! good thing you caught your little one!
