I would recommend she get the puppy his shots. The shots protect the puppy from parvo, lyme diseaste, etc. She can't take the puppy anywhere until it has shots--not to the pet store, the groomer, etc. The puppy's immune system may be compromised--and the puppy could get sick and die--the protection passed on from the mother only lasts about 8 weeks.
She should go to the Humane Society and get the shots done. |
