LOL Sylvan, I wished I knew this sooner. Maybe that's why he thinks she's got Pancreatitis, that's all she would eat. Maybe it was starting something.

I will call another vet and see if I can get in. Vets are like drs and all have different experiences so maybe another will know what's going on.

I don't think she has a uterine infection he ran a blood panel and did a fecal test and yes, he pushed and proded her all over the place. Yes, she's urinating ok and reasonably often for the shape she's in.

She's still not eating but I am force feeding her with the syringe. She does drink water but I think the babies are hungry even tho they are nursing. I don't think she's got much milk left. She is not listless or as weak as you might expect. I have the babies in a shallow tote and she hops in and out without a problem.

Everyone: do you think I should take the babies away from her and just feed them formula? Do you think it would help or would it distress her too much? She doesn't mind me messing around with them. I haven't even docked their tails or done their dewclaws to keep from distressing her more.
