I have learned also, that if you stop chasing, they will stop running, they want to stay about a foot ahead of me. So I just sit down, like I want to play, and when they come, it is NO SCOLDING, just lot of love and kisses. Otherwise next time they might not come.
However, I live on an acreage and I'm not dealing with a city street. It might be worth a try though.
