It is a very stressful situation. However, trying to get her to eat a huge variance of human food is not good for her at all. She will become sick and you won't know if it is from the mixture of food she isn't used to or if it is the original cause for not eating to begin with. Being that she has just had pups I'd definetly take her to another vet. She needs to be checked over thoroughly. Are you sure she passed all placentas? A retained one can cause problems for sure. Do you think the vet checked her over thoroughly...looking and pressing in all the right areas? Is she urinating frequently? Is she drinking water? Did he check her temp? I pray all is well with her and that she has a full recovery. Please post another update soon so we will know how she is feeling and what her current symptoms are.
