The flea eggs nest in places which is why they can come right back. My friend took in a stray cat w/fleas, I refused to take my dog over there. The vet told her to clean & sprary everything. Kodak is 2yrs old and had fleas at 5mths but hasn't had them since. He was using pads at the time, barely went out so the vet narrowed it to catching them in the pet store. The vet gave him Frontline, and something by mouth. We had to go home and wash his bedding in hot water, vacuum with flea vacuum powder to kill and pick up the eggs. Spray down the bedding, walls and carpet with flea spray to kill any remainding eggs. He couldn't lay on the bedding for a few days until those fumes subsided so he would'nt get sick. But I refused to have those nasty little fleas around biting him or one of us. Good luck getting rid of them. |
