I noticed a white spot on one of Gracie eyes a couple of weeks ago and took her to the vet thinking it might be a catarat. The vet said it was a calcium deposit and that I should put artficial tears in her eyes 2 to 3 times a day to see if it would clear up. He found a small one in her other eye also. I've been putting the articial tears in her eyes everyday. I haven't been able to tell is it's getting smaller, but she doesn't seems to have as much eye gunk as she did before.
