I know I have said, I am from a small town. I have lived here 20 years and raised two boys. I think sometimes that I know everyone in town. From the soccer fields, school activities, PTA - you can't make a quick trip to the grocery store without running into people you know. I had to stop shopping on sunday because I couldn't make it down an aisle without holding a conversation. People here do sell pups at the soccer field, on the side of the road (usually under tents with a cage set up - with the entire family there), and I have seen them at Walmart. Dogs bringing high prices such as Yorkies, I would think would not be an impulse buy, probably more of a first meeting. We do have dog parks in a next door town, maybe another place to meet prospective buyers.
Personally, I would not do it, because the side of the road scares me, too. |
