One day before Oscar past away we went to my in laws house and Oscar got out of the house when hubby opened the door to go to the garage, so he started chasing him and of course I'm all scared but instead of yelling at Oscar I started calling him and sweet talking to him, as soon as he heard my sweet talking he turned around and came running to me. That really amazed me! there was a second time at night when taking the trash out, again, husband left the door opened and then Oscar got out, I sweet talked to him and he turned around and came right back to me. Did you tried sweet talking to your doggie?
