We are the owner of a 9 month old Yorkie named "Taylor". He is a 11 lbs, a definite Teapot! My husband is happier that he turned out larger than we thought. We love to take boat trips and since Taylor is piddle-pad trained it makes it easy...plus is his a sturdier size for boating. When he we got him he was so tiny that he would get under an "L" shaped sectional leather couch and it would take more than two of us to try to lift it and get him. Now he is such a "Bouncy" size that we don't worry about shuffling our feet to avoid causing him injury and he still is small enough to fly in his soft-sided carry-on bag to fly with us in the cabin on trips. Taylor definitely isn't a "Purse-Dog" but he's a wonderful bundle of LOVE! Someone on here said that "Yorkie's are like a box of chocolates... You never know what you are going to get" And that's true even if the parents are small it doesn't mean that one of the puppies won't turn out much bigger. We love him so much and I'm sure that you will adjust to the notion that your furbaby might be a little larger than you thought. (More to love!)
