Sounds like you are going to have a bigger baby, but that just means there will be more to love! Our friends have a 13 lb 1 year-old, and he is as cute as can be!
I agree that just looking at the parents can be deceiving. Our Penny is just over 7 lbs, but one of her brothers is 12 lbs and another is 9 lbs.
I would just talk to your vet about the proper amounts of food and make sure your new baby is healthy. Other than that, just be prepared for years of kisses!
