 Need Help - I Gotta New Furbaby
Our family got our new furbaby on Christmas Day - she is SOOOOOOOOOOO adorable we named her Evie because "Santa" brought her on Christmas Eve for our 5year old. She is almost 6mo old. This is my problem......I have a guest bathroom downstairs that she has been in (pads and crate are in there). She has used the pad a couple of times and a couple of times not. When I point to the pad or tap it - she thinks I am playing and starts wagging her tail - I continuously say "go potty on pad" when I am pointing to it. I sprayed it with the puppy training spray and she has not showed any interest. What do I do? Also, her crate is in the same room do I need to move her crate elsewhere and only use that area for her pads or is it okay to have them in the same area? I know this is a slow process, but I do not want to teach her wrong now and then have to correct it later. Any suggestions would be GRACIOUSLY accepted. |
